Can my Google Business have two opening times in one day?

Yes, you can have multiple opening hours in the same day for your Google Business Profile location . This can be useful if you're a restaurant that closes after lunch and reopens for dinner, or a bar that opens early for a special sporting event and then closes afterwards, etc. The following article will show how to make these changes in LocalClarity for a single location, and in bulk.

Single Location

In the Locations tab, select the Location you want to change hours for. If you are making a permanent change to your daily hours, select the pencil icon next to the Hour setting. If you are making changes for one-off or multiple special events, use the Holiday setting, as shown here:
Location-Single Location Edit-Holiday Edit
Once in the edit screen, select Add New Date. Set the Open/Closed slider to open, set your first set of hours, and then select Add Hours. From there add your second set of hours. The following example is setting your hours on April 5th to 9-Noon, closed from Noon-2, and open again from 2-8pm:

Two sets of hours in one day
Bulk Locations

To make these same changes to multiple locations at once there are a couple of options.
First, in the Locations tab, you can select multiple locations or select all locations using the check boxes on the left. Once selected, choose Edit-Select a Property-Holiday/Special Hours-Add New Date and repeat the process from the single location process.

For the second option, head to the Manage Locations tab and then GMB Details. Once the sheet populates, scroll to the right to find Special Hours (if you are making these changes on a permanent basis then you would do this under the desired days). For the same special hours as the single location example, you would enter the following under Special Hours:
2023-4-5-2023-4-5 9:00-12:00, 2023-4-5-2023-4-5 14:00-20:00

This is once again saying that on April 5th, your store will be open from 9 until Noon, and then from 2 until 8. To apply to all your locations, simply drag the cell down through all desired location rows.
