How are the number of billable locations determined?

The core pricing structure of the LocalClarity platform is a specific cost per location* per month. While this sounds simple enough, sometimes it's quite a challenge to determine the number of locations used for billing purposes.

Each Google My Business location (the core location count construct) has the following seven status designations:

  • Verified: Y/N

  • Unverified: Y/N

  • Pending Verification: Y/N

  • Requires Re-Verification: Y/N

  • Duplicate: Y/N

  • Suspended: Y/N

  • Closed: Y/N

The number of billable locations each month is calculated as:

The Number of Open Locations That are Verified or Pending Verification:

This value also equals the total number of locations in the platform, minus closed locations and minus the net number of duplicate, suspended, unverified, or required re-verification locations.

Special Circumstances:
Additional location counts might exist in the rare circumstance where an account has more net, live, and active locations in a specific platform, such as Facebook or TripAdvisor. The billable total in those situations is the highest net total.

Reconciliation:

Unless your account is part of an extended contract, the billable location total is updated monthly.

Department Listings:

Under most circumstances, the individual department listings contained within a single core GMB listing (e.g., ATM listings within a bank branch) will NOT count towards the billing total. Limitations may apply.
