How do I respond to reviews from the different platforms?

LocalClarity connects to review sources in the most robust methodology allowed by the originating platform. Ideally, the platform provides an open 2-Way API that allows for full receipt of reviews and pushing of responses. Unfortunately, most platforms have no API infrastructure and responses need to be made directly and manually.

For full details on connection types please see this article.

Direct Responses
Each review that can receive a direct response from within the platform are presented with a blue arrow.

All workflows are available for these connections:

  • Google

  • Facebook

  • Booking

  • Trustpilot

  • Apple Places

  • Google Play

  • App Store

Indirect / On Review Platform
Each review that cannot be sent a reply directly from the application (again because the platform does not support this technology) presents with a green arrow.

Clicking this arrow sends the users directly to the location page for the specific review received. Users will need to log into the application and follow the reply workflow. Once the response is provided directly on the platform, LocalClarity brings in the response for reporting and analysis the next business day.

Here is a partial list of the indirect response partners. We reach out to each one several times per year to gain insights into their technology roadmap and request additional connection tools:
