How to Handle "Pin_Drop_Required" message when creating GBP Listings

This is a rare Error Code that Google provides to users when trying to create a listing and is provided when the address does not have corresponding coordinates within Google Maps. When the listing is being pushed for creation, the location details provided are not associated with any pin or coordinates. Due to this lack of information on Google's end, they trigger the error message.

LocalClarity sees this issue about once or twice a year with clients trying to create a listing, traditionally in locations that are outside of North America. This is not a limitation of the platform but a limitation with Google Maps not being able to find the address given without having a pin dropped directly in Maps.

To create this listing, you would need to do that directly through your Google Business Profile Account. This process would allow you to create the listing directly in Google and then place the pin in Maps.

Once the listing it is created, a client service representative can work with you to help ensure this newly created listing is brought into your profile, so that you can have visibility, control, and access to our bulk service workflows.
