Location Mapping

Location Mapping

Location mapping (the ability to pair "parent" records with their corresponding "child" records) is a new feature in LocalClarity available directly in our platform interface (no more uploads required). This significantly improves your initial set-up and your ongoing maintenance for multi-source profiles.

Mapping locations (pointing all reviews and listing sources to a single "parent" record) previously required a bulk file upload. Now, this can all be done by simply dragging and dropping the 'child' location to the applicable 'parent' location. This allows users to match up all of their parent locations with their children locations- meaning all of your locations integrations are housed under the same parent location, unifying your data across the platform.

In your Locations section, you will see a new top navigation bar. Go to the Mapping button. All Parent records are listed within the left panel, while any unmapped destination records will be listed on the right.

Simply open the Parent tab, and drag the Unmapped Destination from the right panel to the corresponding record in the left panel. This will create a unified listing detail across destination sources. Each parent record should contain all respective destination records for uniform control of your data.
