Reclaiming your Google Business Profile without the email address that set it up

Reclaiming your Google Business Profile without the email address that set it up

If you are struggling to reclaim your GBP listings without that crucial email address that set up the account, there is a solution. The reason why Google does not automatically provide you with the email address that set up the account is for security purposes. However, Google does give you hints, like providing the first few characters of email address.

Examples:
  1. "du..@gmail.com"
  2. seo..@company.example
  3. repm*****@biz.com
If these sorts of hints remind you of that email address, you can simply log in using that address. If the hints Google provides are not ringing any bells, do not fret. You can claim the profile, with a new email that is associated with your business domain. This will help ensure that regardless of employees changing positions, your business will always have access to your GBP account.

If claiming your listings under a new email account is unsuccessful, there is always the change to get help from Google Business Support Page . Please make sure to follow their prompts and provide as much context or details tying you to the GBP Profile and listings.
