Which Google integration should I use?

Which Google integration should I use?

The LocalClarity platform supports two methods to connect to your Google Business Profile location listings: direct authorization and public indexing. You can see the choices presented in the Settings > Integrations section marked as Authorized Google and Indexed Google.

Which Should You Choose?
We strongly recommend that you select the Authorized Google connection whenever possible. This integration method gives you:
  1. All historic Google review data,
  2. Ability to directly respond to reviews from the platform,
  3. Ability to leverage Intelligent Auto Responses,
  4. Full Google My Business Insights, with daily data points for every location,
  5. Direct management of all Google My Business location details,
  6. Full bulk management control of the GMB account, and
  7. More control options within the LocalClarity platform.
Users should only select the Indexed option when reviews need to be monitored for locations without direct GMB control. This can be the case when brands need to monitor the reputations of independently owned and managed franchise locations, or for professional associations that might wish to offer reputation monitoring for their independent members.
Competitor Monitoring
The other core reason for selecting the Index option is for monitoring competitor reviews. When selecting this option, users have the ability to mark the location as a competitor and access additional fields for the setup.
What If I Do Both?
Connecting the same locations via an authorized connection and an indexed connection will cause all Google reviews to be duplicated in the platform. If you temporarily need to index you can do so. Deleting the indexed location will remove all associated reviews.
